Using the myth of The Twelve Labors of Hercules to explore the inner workings of a hardscrabble World War II-era family, The Twelfth Labor is a new American epic drama. Following a single day, October 15, 1949, we see the world of an Idaho family through the eyes of the eldest daughter Cleo, a girl with a damaged mind.

Through her fragmented memories, prophetic dreams, and swirling language, we begin to understand the price she and her family have paid for a little dignity. All while they wait for the return of their long absent father, lost in the war half a world away.

Production Dates: Sept 19 – Oct 14, 2015, Gene Frankel Theatre, New York
